Cautions
Provides 400 mg of magnesium per serving, above the 350 mg daily upper limit for magnesium from supplements. Count magnesium from other supplements, including MAXIS Hydrate (100 mg) and Pre-Workout (75 mg per serving).
If you have kidney disease, consult a healthcare professional before use; impaired kidneys clear magnesium less well.
If you take bisphosphonates, tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics, diuretics or proton pump inhibitors, ask your doctor or pharmacist about timing and dose.
If you are pregnant or nursing, consult a healthcare professional before use. Stop taking it and talk to a healthcare professional if you notice any adverse reaction.
Keep out of reach of children.

Adults: take three vegan capsules a day, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Each capsule provides about 133 mg of magnesium. FAQ
Is 400 mg too much?
It is above the 350 mg a day upper limit the NIH lists for magnesium from supplements. That limit is set mainly because high doses can cause diarrhea, nausea and cramping. Magnesium from food does not count toward it. Each capsule is about 133 mg, so talk to your healthcare provider about the amount that suits you.
What is magnesium glycinate?
Magnesium bound to glycine, an amino acid. The 400 mg on the label is the elemental magnesium it delivers, not the weight of the whole compound.
Can I take it with MAXIS Hydrate?
Not without counting. A Hydrate stick adds 100 mg of magnesium, and a Pre-Workout serving adds 75 mg. Together with a full serving of this, the total is well above the 350 mg supplement limit.
When should I take it?
The label does not set a time. Take the three capsules together or split them across the day.
Are there interactions?
Magnesium can bind bisphosphonates and tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics, so these are usually taken a few hours apart. Some diuretics and long-term proton pump inhibitor use change magnesium levels. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you take any of these.
Who should avoid it?
Anyone with kidney disease should talk to their doctor first, because the kidneys clear excess magnesium.
Where and how is it made?
In the USA, with globally sourced ingredients, in an NPA GMP-certified, third-party audited, FDA-registered facility that follows FDA's cGMP rules for dietary supplements (21 CFR Part 111).
Is it vegan?
Yes. The capsules are vegan, and the product is gluten free and non-GMO.
Can I use it if I compete in a tested sport?
This product does not carry a banned-substance certification such as NSF Certified for Sport or Informed Sport. If you compete under anti-doping rules, check with your governing body before using any supplement.
