MAXIS started with a shared refusal to accept underdosed, half-disclosed supplements. Meet the people who set the standard — and hold the line on it.

“If we won't put our name on it, it doesn't ship.”

Kevin started his first company at fifteen — Black Marlin, a yacht detailing outfit he and Ben built by hand, one boat at a time. His half of it was the part clients saw: how the work looked when it was finished, whether it met a standard someone would pay a premium for. He never learned to do it the easy way.

At MAXIS he owns the same thing — everything you see and hear. The brand, the voice, the community, the standard the label sets in public. His rule is simple: nothing goes out with the MAXIS name on it that the two of them wouldn't stake their own on.

"The dose is either right or it's marketing."

Ben built his first company at fifteen — Black Marlin, the yacht detailing business he and Kevin ran by hand. His half was the part clients never saw: the process, the sequence, the reason a finish held up when the boat was back in the water a month later. He learned early that the standard lives in the parts nobody's watching.

At MAXIS he owns exactly that — everything behind the label. How it's sourced, how it's made, what the testing has to clear before a batch is allowed to ship. Kevin makes sure the brand says the right thing; Ben makes sure it's true.

“There's enough BS in food. Let's leave that out of supplements.”

Mike studied mechanical engineering and mathematics — a background that leaves no room for "close enough." He's also the one who trains on what they make: a lifter and a runner who reads a supplement label the way an engineer reads a spec sheet, looking for the number that isn't there.

At MAXIS he owns testing — the doses, the ratios, and the evidence behind them. Every active is disclosed at its full amount, every batch has a Certificate of Analysis, and nothing gets rounded up on the label to sound better than it is. If the science doesn't hold, it doesn't ship.
