Take 1 capsule daily with food, ideally a meal containing some fat (D3 and K2 are both fat-soluble — absorption is significantly improved when taken with dietary fat). Best taken consistently rather than occasionally; benefits build with stable blood levels over weeks.

What to expect
Weeks 1–4
Building Up
Daily intake gradually raises serum 25(OH)D levels — the marker your doctor measures. Most people start to see meaningful changes in blood levels within 4 weeks of consistent dosing.
Months 2–3
Steady State
Serum D3 plateaus at a stable level matched to your daily intake. K2 (MK7) reaches stable activity around the same window. This is when the synergistic effects on calcium metabolism are most evident.
Long-Term
Maintenance
D3 + K2 work as a daily maintenance pair. Skipping doses causes levels to drop predictably — consistent intake matters more than perfect timing.

Manufactured in the USA. Vitamin K2 sourced as vitaMK7® from Gnosis S.p.A.

Made to 21 CFR Part 111 cGMP standards
Every finished lot is tested for identity, label-claim actives, and microbial safety before release.
How it's made
FDA-Registered Manufacturing
Produced in a US manufacturing facility registered with the FDA for dietary supplement production. The registration is independently maintained and subject to federal inspection.
Made Under cGMP Standards
Production adheres to current Good Manufacturing Practices, the federal framework that governs identity, purity, strength, and composition of every batch. All processing happens in dedicated clean rooms designed to prevent cross-contamination.
Branded K2 Source
The MK7 used here is Stabilized vitaMK7® from Gnosis — a documented, naturally-fermented form of vitamin K2 with stability and purity specifications backing every batch, not a generic K2 blend.
Raw Materials Tested for Identity & Heavy Metals
Each incoming raw material batch is verified against identity and purity protocols before production begins. Heavy metals screening is part of the standard intake process.
Microbial Safety Checks
Both the production environment and the finished product are tested for microbial hazards. Contamination controls are monitored throughout holding, processing, and packaging.
D3 + K2 Together, As Designed
D3 and K2 are paired in a single capsule for synergy and convenience. Buying separate D3 and K2 supplements often leads to inconsistent dosing — here they're balanced and combined.
Clinical research on the ingredients
D3 + K2 Synergy
Vitamins D and K work synergistically in calcium metabolism and skeletal health, with combined supplementation producing more favorable bone outcomes than either alone.

Vitamin D Status
Vitamin D inadequacy is highly prevalent in the United States, with significant populations falling below thresholds associated with optimal bone, immune, and muscle function.

MK7 Bioavailability
Long-chain menaquinones (MK7) demonstrate longer half-lives and more sustained serum activity than vitamin K1 or shorter menaquinones, supporting steadier daily activation of K-dependent proteins.

Two vitamins. One purpose. D3 directs calcium absorption; K2 directs that calcium to bone. Taken alone, D3 can leave the system imbalanced — together they're synergistic.

What customers ask

Questions, answered straight.

Why D3 and K2 together?
D3 helps your body absorb calcium. K2 helps direct that calcium to bone tissue rather than soft tissue or arteries. Taking D3 alone — especially at higher doses — can leave your system without the K2 it needs to manage the calcium D3 mobilizes. Pairing them is a more complete approach to bone and cardiovascular support.
Is 5000 IU of D3 too much?
5000 IU is a common adult dose, well above the RDA (600–800 IU) and well within the dose ranges studied for individuals working to correct low D3 status. The official Tolerable Upper Limit is 4000 IU/day, though many physicians and recent reviews support higher daily doses for adults with documented insufficiency. If you're unsure of your status, a 25(OH)D blood test from your doctor can guide whether this dose is right for you.
Why MK7 instead of MK4?
MK7 is the long-chain bioactive form of vitamin K2 with a longer half-life — once-daily dosing produces stable blood activity. MK4 has a much shorter half-life and typically requires multiple daily doses to maintain activity. We use Stabilized vitaMK7® from Gnosis for confirmed potency.
Should I take it morning or night?
Whichever you'll remember consistently. Take it with a meal containing some fat — both D3 and K2 are fat-soluble vitamins, and absorption can drop substantially without dietary fat present.
Can I take it with calcium?
Yes — that's part of the rationale for D3+K2. They direct calcium where you want it (bone) rather than where you don't (arteries, soft tissue). If you take a calcium supplement, taking D3+K2 with it is a sensible pairing.
What if I'm on blood thinners?
If you take warfarin (Coumadin) or another vitamin-K-sensitive anticoagulant, do not start K2 without talking to your prescribing physician. K2 can affect how these medications work, and dose adjustments may be needed. Most modern blood thinners (like apixaban or rivaroxaban) are not affected by vitamin K, but always check with your doctor.
Can I get enough from sunlight and food?
Some people can — adults living in lower latitudes, spending significant unprotected time outdoors year-round. For most US adults, especially those living north of about the 35th parallel or working primarily indoors, dietary and skin-synthesized D3 falls short of optimal levels. Vitamin K2 in MK7 form is also rare in standard Western diets — fermented foods like natto are the main source.
