Yes — that's part of the rationale for D3+K2. They direct calcium where you want it (bone) rather than where you don't (arteries, soft tissue). If you take a calcium supplement, taking D3+K2 with it is a sensible pairing.
If you take warfarin (Coumadin) or another vitamin-K-sensitive anticoagulant, do not start K2 without talking to your prescribing physician. K2 can affect how these medications work, and dose adjustments may be needed. Most modern blood thinners (like apixaban or rivaroxaban) are not affected by vitamin K, but always check with your doctor.
Some people can — adults living in lower latitudes, spending significant unprotected time outdoors year-round. For most US adults, especially those living north of about the 35th parallel or working primarily indoors, dietary and skin-synthesized D3 falls short of optimal levels.
